There is trust and then there are trusts

There is trust and then there are trusts

Trust is one of those pervasive matters which remain least noticed in social life. Almost all of us need it just to make it from home to our practice.
Think about it. Unless there is strong evidence to the contrary, we assume when we leave on our commute each morning that our car has been properly constructed, repaired and maintained, other drivers we encounter will obey road rules, the building lift in which we stand is in good working order and that its electric supply system is safe. That covers about the first hour of each day. In fact, we tend to face the world with an attitude of trust.
